Fred R. Harris, a U.S. Senator, wrote a letter to Virgil Harrington at the Bureau of Indian Affairs requesting the rehiring of Brent Moffer, a Conservation Technician who was terminated due to a shortage of funds. Harris believes Moffer is qualified and was doing a good job. There are also internal memos discussing the termination and efforts to rehire Moffer on a full-time basis.
