The Osage Tribal Council supports the establishment of the Carlisle Indian School National Monument in Pennsylvania and has written to Senator Fred Harris to express their support. The proposed legislation is currently pending in the House Armed Services Committee, and they hope for quick approval with the assistance of Senator Harris. A legislative assistant to Senator Harris has acknowledged the letter and will bring it to the senator's attention upon his return.
