Correspondence Regarding Cherokee Bilingual Education Program', 1970-05-07

 File — Box: 197, Folder: 3
Identifier: CAC_CC_026_1_197_3_014
Willard Walker received documents from Stuart Trapp regarding a critique of a Cherokee bilingual education program, a letter from W. W. Keeler accusing Walker of being "white" and working with a group, and a proposal for a Cherokee Rumor Aid Project. Walker denies the accusations made by Keeler and mentions a Senate Subcommittee investigation on the activities of outside do-gooders in the Cherokee area. Walker offers to provide information and materials on Cherokee language and education. Walker also writes to Keeler requesting a true copy of the letter sent to Miss Margaret Moore for accurate information.
