The letter is a response to Miss Edna A. Andrews' request for an "Interchange Appointment" to teach in an Indian school. The Bureau of Indian Affairs informs that the NEA Project Interchange will no longer provide teacher exchanges, and suggests contacting the Teacher Recruitment Office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The letter also mentions that Senator Fred R. Harris has been contacted regarding the request.
