Miss Mary Anne Corman wrote to Senator Fred R. Harris requesting help in obtaining a teaching job on an Indian reservation. Senator Harris wrote to the Bureau of Indian Affairs on her behalf, and they responded saying they will be accepting applications soon and will send her the necessary forms when available. Senator Harris wished her luck in getting the job and offered further assistance if needed.
