Debra Cameron, a graduate student at Tufts University, wrote to Senator Fred R. Harris requesting information on the education of Indians in Oklahoma for a paper she is writing. Senator Harris responded by sending her information from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and offered further assistance if needed. Cameron had visited the Concho Indian school and was interested in learning more about education for Native Americans in Oklahoma.
