The letter is in response to a inquiry from Senator Fred R. Harris regarding Mr. Virgil Queton's issues with adult education and dental care. Mr. Queton was not reimbursed for course fees in an adult education class, but steps are being taken to reimburse him. The responsibility for dental care for Indian people was transferred to the U.S. Public Health Service in 1955. The letter is being referred to Dr. Emery Johnson, Director of the Indian Health Service, for appropriate action.
