Assistance with Funding for 'Free Drop-In School' Program, 1971-11-03

Mr. Carroll C. Swan, Director of the Rapid City Indian Service Council, Inc., requested funding for an education program called "Free Drop-In School." Senator Fred R. Harris expressed support for the program and contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs to inquire about the status of the funding application. Senator Harris indicated his desire to see such programs implemented and promised to follow up with Mr. Swan once he receives a response from the BIA.
