Response to Inquiry Regarding Employment of Mr. Frank Tipton at Fort Sill Indian School, 1971-01 - 1971-12-31

 File — Box: 235, Folder: 15
Identifier: CAC_CC_026_1_235_15_097
The letter is a response to Senator Harris's inquiry on behalf of Mr. Frank Tipton, a teacher at the Bureau's Fort Sill Indian School, who is concerned about the possibility of his employment being terminated during his probationary period. The Bureau officials have met with Mr. Tipton to specify expectations and assist him in overcoming any performance deficiencies. A decision on retaining him will be delayed for a few weeks while his performance is reviewed. The Bureau will seek a resolution that is fair to both Mr. Tipton and the Indian education program.
