Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from Miss Barbara Harrington requesting a reference letter for a BIA grant application. Senator Harris enclosed a response from the Bureau of Indian Affairs stating that they are working to determine which agency should be notified of Miss Harrington's request for financial assistance. The Bureau assured Senator Harris that they are looking into the matter and will provide further assistance if needed.
