Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from Lee Motah regarding issues at Fort Sill Indian School. The letter requested the removal of four personnel, including the Superintendent, due to discriminatory actions and lack of responsiveness to the needs of Indian students and employees. The Bureau of Indian Affairs had not acted on the request, prompting further communication and support from Senator Harris for the resolution to be implemented.
