Mrs. Magdalene Scott contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs for financial aid for her daughter's college education. After a reevaluation of their financial status, an award of $524 per semester was made. The daughter was not assisted for summer school expenses due to limited funds. Senator Fred R. Harris inquired about Mrs. Scott's case and the Bureau promised to provide more information promptly.
