Mrs. Florene Chesbro wrote to Senator Fred R. Harris seeking assistance for her son to obtain scholarship assistance from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Senator Harris responded, informing Mrs. Chesbro that he had contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs on her behalf and application forms were forwarded to her son. The Bureau of Indian Affairs also sent a letter to Senator Harris confirming that they had provided the necessary information and application forms to Mrs. Chesbro's son.
