The letter is from Beth A. Wolf, a caseworker for Senator Fred R. Harris, responding to a letter from Lorraine P. Bruton seeking educational aid. Wolf mentions that they were unable to determine if Bruton is eligible for aid from the Bureau of Indian Affairs or the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, and sends her information from the BIA. Bruton explains in her letter to Senator Harris that she is planning to go to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse but lacks the funds due to personal issues. The letter from the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare discusses a proposal for an educational facility on former Air Force property in Oregon.
