 File — Box: 266, Folder: 23
Identifier: CAC_CC_026_1_266_23_010
Jerry Muskrat, a student at Harvard Law School, applied for financial assistance through the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The response from the Deputy Commissioner was not encouraging, as they were already funding him on a tuition and fees basis and his current financial need did not warrant additional assistance. Muskrat requested a review of the decision. Senator Fred Harris expressed disappointment at the response and requested further consideration for Muskrat's case.
