Seeking Census Records for Old Age Assistance Eligibility: A Letter Correspondence, 1951-11-28

 Item — Box: 11, Folder: 66
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_11_66_0006
A letter from Senator Raymond Gary requests information on the age of Mr. John Wolf, who attended Lebanon Indian Academy. Congressman Carl Albert forwards the request to the Indian Office in an effort to help Mr. Wolf obtain old age assistance. The Indian Office does not have records of the academy, so a search of Census records is suggested to determine Mr. Wolf's age. Instructions for requesting a search of Census records are included in the correspondence.
