Mrs. Minnie Brown is writing to Congressman Carl Albert requesting her Indian payment and welfare checks to be delivered on time. Congressman Albert assures her that he will do his best to expedite the payments. Mrs. Brown also faces delays in receiving her welfare checks, and Congressman Albert's office is working with the Welfare Department to addressee Carl Albert the issue. Additionally, it is discovered that Mrs. Brown does not receive assistance from the Department of Public Welfare and her case is forwarded to the Oklahoma Emergency Relief Board. Congressman Albert's office also reaches out to the Bureau of Indian Affairs to ensure that Mrs. Brown's checks are delivered on time.
