The text consists of a series of letters written by Mrs. Sallie Colbert and Congressman Carl Albert regarding her heirship claims and payments. Mrs. Colbert expresses her need for the payments and asks for assistance in expediting the process. Congressman Albert assures her that he will help and contacts the Indian Office on her behalf. Mrs. Colbert also raises concerns about potential land sales and the continuation of her pension. Congressman Albert promises to do his best to assist Mrs. Colbert with her concerns.
