 Item — Box: 131, Folder: 12
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_131_12_0025
The Department of Health, Education, and Welfare's Public Health Service in the USA received a letter from Speaker Carl Albert regarding the Indian Health Service hospital planned for Ada, Oklahoma. Some tribal groups wanted the site changed to Shawnee, but the Advisory Board in Oklahoma City had already decided on Ada as the location. The office will not change the site recommendation without another resolution from the Board. John W. Davis, the Area Director, expressed willingness Carl Albert to provide further assistance if needed.
