Fred Ruth of Senator Bartlett's office called to express Carl Albert interest in the proposed CA Indian Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Senator Montoya was trying to get a hospital for New Mexico, so Senator Bartlett was willing to help with the one in Oklahoma. Carl Albert of the House was also very interested and had contacted top members of the Appropriations Subcommittee.
