The Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes held a meeting urging the United States Senate to approve funds for a new Indian hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. The letter was addressed to Chairman Magnuson and signed by President B. Frank Belvin. The council requested swift action to improve the health conditions of the Chickasaws, Choctaws, Seminoles, Creeks, and Cherokees living in the Chickasaw Nation.
