Carl Albert received a petition from Mr. J.H. Belvin and other Indian citizens opposing the extension of time for leasing the Choctaw and Chickasaw coal and asphalt lands. He has not heard of any such proposal and plans to have a conference in the future to reach an agreement on the purchase price of these lands. Carl Albert assures Mr. Belvin that he will resist any effort to delay the matter.
