Carl Albert received a petition opposing proposed legislation to extend the time for leasing Choctaw and Chickasaw lands for coal and asphalt. He has not heard of any such proposal but plans to have a conference with tribal representatives to reach an agreement on the purchase price of the lands. He assures Mr. Willis that he will resist any effort to delay the negotiations.
