Miss Carl Albert Goodwin received a letter from Carl Albert, a representative from Oklahoma, regarding a petition opposing the extension of time for leasing Choctaw and Chickasaw coal and asphalt lands. The Department of the Interior plans to have a conference with tribal representatives to reach an agreement on the purchase prices of these lands. Albert assures that he will resist any effort to delay the negotiations.
