The notice informs leaders of Oklahoma Indian tribes that Indian boarding schools may be closed due to lack of funding, and funds for tuition at public schools may not be available. Indian hospital services are already being reduced, and other services for Indians in Oklahoma will also be cut. A meeting is called for representatives of all Indian tribes to discuss Carl Albert these issues and determine a course of action. The leaders are urged to attend and represent their tribe's interests.
