Congressman Albert announced that Choctaw-Chickasaw per capita payments will now be made to known heirs, even if the addresses of other heirs are unknown. This decision was reached after discussions with the Office of Indian Affairs, and will allow thousands of Indian heirs to receive their payments without delay. Additional payments are expected due to a favorable decision in the Lease District case and the Commutation Bill.
