There is agreement that a credit and rehabilitation fund is needed to address the economic challenges faced by many Native Americans. A ten million dollar revolving fund will provide long term loans to Indians to help them achieve self-sufficiency. The bill has support from members of the Five Civilized Tribes and organizations focused on Native American welfare.
