Seeking Rehearing with Justice White: The Gene Ritter Matter, 1970-03-13
Item — Box: 82, Folder: 37
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_82_37_0011
Gene Ritter's petitions for rehearing in cases involving Mr. Beardon and Mr. Crumb were denied by the Supreme Court. He wants Mr. Albert to contact Justice White for an appointment to submit a petition for rehearing, but it is advised that Justice White will not see anyone on a case ex parte. Instead, the proper procedure is to submit the motion to the Clerk who will transmit it to the Justice concerned. It is advised that Mr. Albert should not ask for an appointment with Justice White, but can inform him of the filing and request full consideration.
