The Osage Tribal Council is requesting that plans to restructure the Bureau of Indian Affairs be suspended until the new Secretary of the Interior, Rogers C. B. Morton, can review the plan and consult with Indian leaders. They are opposed to the new policy announced by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and seek support from Congressman Morton in delaying its implementation.
