James E. Curry, an attorney, is writing to the Seminole General Council and U.S. House of Representatives regarding a case involving Indian trust funds being used to pay lawyers who were not chosen by the Indians. He is urging for intervention in the case to prevent a dangerous precedent. Curry is critical of government lawyers and is seeking support to protect the interests of the Indians. Congressman Carl Albert's office has acknowledged Curry's letter and will bring it to his attention.
