The House of Representatives has passed a bill that has been amended since it was first drafted, with the purpose of eliminating second class citizenship and preserving the rights of all Americans. The bill is substantially different from earlier drafts and will now be considered by the U.S. Senate, where further changes are expected. Representative Carl Albert believes that the final version of the bill will be beneficial to the nation and will be approved by the majority of people in Oklahoma and the Third Congressional District.
