Miss Earlene Burns wrote a letter to U.S. Representative Carl Albert requesting information on financial assistance for Indians seeking higher education. Carl Albert responded, acknowledging her letter and informing her that Mr. A. B. Caldwell of the Muskogee Area Office can provide information on educational loans and scholarships available to qualified individuals of Indian descent. He assured her that Mr. Caldwell would be happy to help and expressed his pleasure in being of service.
