The letter is from Carl Albert, a member of Congress, to Mr. E.E. James regarding his son's desire to get a job with the Indian Office in Muskogee. The Director of the Indian Office states that Mr. James is not eligible for a position due to not being of sufficient Indian descent. However, he recommends that Mr. James apply through the United States Civil Service Commission for other positions. Carl Albert expresses his willingness to help Mr. James and recommends contacting Danny Le Crone at the Indian Office for further assistance.
