Mrs. Norma J. Bookout from Hartshorne, Oklahoma, complained about the Indian Health Service Hospital at Talihina. The Area Director of the Indian Health Service responded, stating that they were investigating the complaints thoroughly and ensuring that the hospital staff were making efforts to be courteous to patients and visitors. The Speaker of the House relayed Mrs. Bookout's complaints to the Area Director and promised to provide updates on the situation.
