The Indian Action Team Program is a training program developed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs to assist tribal governments in developing their communities in accordance with their development plans of self-determination. The program consists of three phases: planning, training, and implementation. The training is carried out on the reservation and focuses on providing marketable skills for long-term employment. The program aims to establish Indian businesses and enterprises to promote training and employment opportunities for Indian people.
