Beryl called to inform that Floyd Maytubby will be named governor of the Chickasaws again, with the official announcement to be made the next day. It is mentioned that there have been requests for the Chickasaws to elect their own chief. Rex Lee from the Bureau of Indian Affairs advised not to announce it before the official announcement and inquired about Carl's return.
