The Citizen Band Potawatomi Indian Tribe of Oklahoma is seeking a loan guarantee for a construction project to create jobs and boost the economy in Shawnee. They have been in communication with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and other agencies to secure financing for the project. The Speaker of the House, Carl Albert, has been involved in the discussions and is keeping track of the progress.
