John W. Gatewood requested Congressman George B. Schwabe to use his influence with the Rules Committee to report the Fair Trades Bill to the House of Representatives for voting. Schwabe assured Gatewood that he would do his best to persuade the committee to consider the bill. Gatewood then sent a telegram insisting on placing the bill on the House calendar. The company welcomes suggestions from its patrons regarding its service.
