Anadarko Area Office Reorganization and Personnel Changes, 1949-03-03

 Item — Box: 30, Folder: 3
Identifier: CAC_CC_003_2_30_3_0005
The Anadarko Area Office reorganization was approved in August 1975 to reduce the number of Branch Chiefs reporting to the Area Director and provide a more organized structure. The reorganization resulted in the creation of a new Division of Indian Services and demotions for some employees. Reduction-in-force procedures were applied to employees affected by the reorganization, with salary retention for a two-year period. Some employees have appealed to the Civil Service Commission. Internal movements of employees are expected, but no adverse effects are anticipated. Grade reductions were likely to occur regardless of the reorganization due to a recent Civil Service Commission audit.
