Item — Box: 31, Folder: 5
Identifier: CAC_CC_003_2_31_5_0016
Representative George Vaughn wrote to Senator Dewey Bartlett seeking assistance for White Oak School to file an application for Title IV, Indian Education funds. However, Senator Bartlett responded that there was nothing he could do to assist at that time. The State Department of Education also expressed regret that White Oak's application was lost in the mail and they would not be able to receive funding for the 1978-1979 school year. They offered to provide assistance in the future if needed.
