The Osage Tribal Council is recommending that funds be allocated for the support of the Chilocco Indian School in Oklahoma, which is facing closure due to high costs and declining enrollment. The school has revamped its programs for the upcoming school year and offers individualized programs for students. The council is seeking support from Senator Bartlett in keeping the school open.
