Advocating for Congressional Field Hearings on Indian Education in Oklahoma, 1977-08-02

 Item — Box: 31, Folder: 6
Identifier: CAC_CC_003_2_31_6_0019
Ms. Farley requested assistance in scheduling a Congressional field hearing in Oklahoma about Indian education. However, there was a misunderstanding as Congress had no plans for such hearings. The House Committee did plan to have hearings in Washington in the fall, and Mr. Red Corn would be invited to present testimony. Ms. Farley urged for a congressional hearing in Oklahoma to address misconceptions and benefit the Oklahoma Indians.
