The letter is a response to a request from Mr. James I. Greenfeather, Chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe, regarding the transfer and reassignment of Mr. Joe C. Christie from the Seneca School. It states that Mr. Christie has accepted a permanent position with the Billings Area Office as of October 9, 1977. The Bureau of Indian Affairs confirms that the concerns raised in the petition have been resolved and thanks Senator Dewey F. Bartlett for his interest in the matter.
