Christine Mitchell wrote a letter to Senator Dewey Bartlett expressing her support for the extension of Title IV funds of the Indian Education Act. Senator Bartlett responded, thanking her for her support and informing her that he will support the extension of the funds when the legislation reaches the Senate floor. Christine had shared that she enjoys learning about different tribes in her Indian class at Mitchell Elementary School.
