Kenneth Perrier, a student at Mitchell School, wrote a letter to Senator Dewey Bartlett expressing his support for the extension of Title IV funds of the Indian Education Act. Senator Bartlett responded, thanking Kenneth for his support and assuring him that he will support the extension of the funds in the Senate. Kenneth expressed his desire for the program to continue for three more years and mentioned that he enjoys activities such as teepees, pottery, and bead work.
