Jon Blackburn wrote a letter to Senator Dewey F. Bartlett expressing his support for the extension of Title IV funds of the Indian Education Act. Senator Bartlett responded, thanking Jon for his letter and assuring him of his support for the extension of the funds. Jon emphasized the importance of the Indian aid program in providing educational opportunities for children with disabilities, particularly reading and spelling.
