The text is a series of correspondence regarding the scholarship application of Mr. Charles Cox for the Indian Health Service. Mr. Cox's application was submitted late and was not considered for the 1976-77 school year. However, he expressed his desire to enter the Indian Health Service and received support from Senator Dewey Bartlett and Principal Chief Ross Swimmer. Mr. Cox also mentioned his intention to stay in rural areas after completing the required service. The Indian Health Service assured that his application would be considered for future vacancies.
