Senator Dewey Bartlett expresses his concern about Indian housing problems in Oklahoma and schedules field hearings to discuss and address the issues. He urges Calvin G. Beames, Chairman of the Housing Authority of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, to participate in the hearings or submit information about housing deficiencies. Beames appreciates Bartlett's efforts and mentions that discussions with the Area Office in Oklahoma City have been favorable.
