A letter from Neal A. McCaleb of the National Council on Indian Opportunity to Mr. Edgar French regarding Senate Concurrent Resolution 48. The resolution repudiates the termination of the National Indian Policy and establishes Indian self-control and self-determination as the objective. McCaleb asks French to introduce a resolution endorsing the Senate resolution at the meeting of the United Western Tribes and to write a letter to Senators Abourezk and Bartlett. McCaleb also provides information on important legislation affecting Indian interests.
