Senator Dewey F. Bartlett is writing a letter to Secretary Carla A. Hills of the Department of Housing and Urban Development regarding a previous requirement that limited the percentage of delinquencies for Indian Housing Authorities in Oklahoma. The requirement had been successful in reducing delinquencies, but was rescinded. Bartlett is requesting that the requirement be reinstated in order to address the current high delinquency rates.
